What we do

Two fronts. One mission. Break the cycle.

Local Mission

Program 01

Local Mission

The gap is in our own backyard. Local Mission mobilizes athletes and men to serve and mentor fatherless youth right where we live — in our schools, our teams, our neighborhoods, and our churches. Through consistent presence — not one-time appearances — our men become the steady, godly example so many kids have never had. We meet youth where they are and show them what it looks like to be served, seen, and led.

What it looks like

  • Mentoring and serving fatherless youth, single mothers, and foster families right here in our communities
  • Team-led service events and outreach through sports, mentorship, and showing up consistently — not one-time appearances
  • Being the steady, godly presence so many kids have never had, in the places we live, coach, and worship
Global Mission

Program 02

Global Mission

The mission doesn't stop at the border — and it doesn't start there either. Rooted in Morningside University football's mission trip program that began in 2011, Global Mission sends teams out on domestic and international trips — meeting real needs and standing in the gap for the fatherless at home and around the world. Our teams travel to serve, build relationships, and come home changed — carrying that fire back into their teams, families, and communities.

What it looks like

  • Domestic and international service trips where teams work, build, and serve alongside local communities — from construction and labor to running sports camps for kids
  • Partnering with local churches and ministries on the ground, so the work continues long after the team flies home
  • Open to athletes, alumni, and supporters — join a trip, sponsor a man who's going, or help fund the mission
